Sunday Update

Lots of things going on right now, so I’ll try to provide the abridged entry:

Lars: Spoke to Lars about a week ago. He had just finished his second round of chemo. Sounds as if he really gets zapped after the treatments. He gets to re-live this every three weeks. Two treatments down, six to go. Get well Lars, so Woody and I can kick your butt in hoops.

Work: I’ve been grinding to get a project ready for launch next week. We’re getting close. The entire team has been busting tail to get this thing out the door. I can’t tell you what it is, but needless to say, it will be cool.

Vets Day: Karsyn had the day off from school, so Sonya took her and Ryan to the SF Zoo with Tracy and her son Matthew on Friday. Ryan loves the merry-go-round.

Blue Diamonds: Karsyn finished off her Fall soccer season with a resounding 6-2 victory. The win was the ninth (out of ten games) for the mighty Blue Diamonds. Karsyn has improved significantly this year. I borrowed my sister’s Nikon D100 to shoot the game. Got some great pictures. I will be investing in a digital SLR soon. [Game Photos]

What were we thinking: Note to self. Never leave a 19-month old alone in the kitchen with a bag full of markers. Ry Ry might be the next Picasso, but the kitchen table is now in dire need of a Brillo pad.

Home maintenance: I had to replace our garbage disposal today. Not a fun job. What’s worse, is the thing is buried under the sink, so you can’t even admire your handy work after the job is done.
